The Unified Platform is

a document compiled every 2 years, during each US national election cycle. Participating candidates vote on policy recommendations collected from a pool of suggestions submitted by: other candidates, grassroots activists, and the public. These policies are collected into a report that identifies those that received unanimous or supermajority support. The reports are published on this site.

This project is designed to give voice to the "little people" who are consistently ignored as establishment candidates and media work together to reshape the public narrative to conform to the dictates and biases of the captains of industry and influence. Partisanship is encouraged to keep the people divided and controllable. Because of these factors we find ourselves caught in a war between two sets of millionaires with the interests of the commoners completely abandoned.

The Unified Platform shows that people from different ideologies can work together. Just as the establishment of both parties work together to protect themselves from accountability (for instance, both Democrats and Republicans are involved in insider trading) the grassroots can also can work together across party lines to demand accountability from our elected leaders and compete with the aforementioned gatekeepers and their shills to fight for legislation on behalf of the people.

The Unified Platform is made up of three parts.

1. The Unified Platform Report - Policy proposals from participating candidates and the public are collected and voted on. Policies receiving unanimous and supermajority support (two thirds) are identified and published to a pdf document on the Unified Platform reports page.
   
   To submit a policy proposal for UP26 project, please comment on the google doc. (Only comments are enabled to protect the document)  Examples of 2 policies that received unanimous support are provided below.
   
   
   • Performing an act in the public interest should provide as a reasonable defense for people such as Edward Snowden - proposed by Brian (I), North Carolina former legislator from NH https://www.anamericanunion.com/
   • Restrict the use of oppressive patents used by agricultural companies like Monsanto. - proposed by Marc Safman (D) co-founder and board member of New York DeafBlind Advocates

3. Discussion panels with candidates and activists to help build consensus and discuss the issues.

Our discussion panels have been attended and co-moderated by notable activists including: Muti Ajamu-Osagboro who is one of the longest wrongfully incarcerated men in US history who comes from Pennsylvania, the most important swing state in the nation. Alan Collinge, the original student loan activist featured on many national media programs. My co-host from Los Angeles, Lisa Henschol who has worked with Color of Change a group with millions of active members, and Kori Edens from Chicago who has worked with me more recently to address issues of abuses by college administrators.
